Ceramic jet printers form the image by applying adhesive ink on a surface of the enamel or ceramic product. After overglaze paints are applied to this sticky surface, a black-and-white or color image is produced on the product. After firing in a muffle furnace, a high-grade photoceramic product (either a pattern or a picture on ceramics, or a photo on enamel, or photos on monuments) turns out. Adhesive ink, in conjunction with a suitable ink jet printer, is an essential part of photoceramic technology. You can look at more detailed description of photoceramic technology in the section — Jet ceramic printer Mirtels.
