Color Ceramic Printer A4-300

Ceramic Printer A4-300 CTF

The ceramic printer A4-300 is a high-tech equipment designed for printing ceramic decals, opening up a wide range of possibilities for creating unique photoceramic products. Its affordable price and the possibility of delivery to any region make it attractive for both professional workshops and home use. The printer uses color laser printing technology with a high resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, which allows you to achieve incredible image detail, photographic quality. This far exceeds the capabilities of inkjet printers, which often suffer from color irregularities.

The printer is based on the use of a special ceramic toner designed to withstand high temperatures and sunlight. This toner is baked into the glaze of the ceramic product, providing unsurpassed durability and resistance of the finished product to external factors: sunlight, moisture (rain, snow, fog), temperature changes and mechanical damage.

The firing process is carried out in a muffle furnace at a temperature of about 830 degrees Celsius, which guarantees deep penetration of the pigment into the glaze and the creation of a unique, durable image.

Different technologies can be used to transfer images to ceramics using the printer A4-300. Below we will consider three options, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages:

Option A: Print on Express Decal Print Paper:  This is the most common and easiest method. EDP paper is a special substrate with a pre-applied decal film that ensures a reliable transfer of the image to the ceramics.

Option B. Technology for printing decals using a laminator and then transferring them to ceramics: After printing on ordinary decal paper, the image is laminated with a special film. Lamination provides additional protection of the image from damage during transfer and firing. After lamination, the image is cut out and transferred to the ceramics in the same way as in the previous method, using water and gentle smoothing. This method requires additional equipment — a laminator, and a little more time, but the result is worth the effort.

Option C: Decal-varnish printing technology: This method is the most complex and requires experience. It involves printing on special decal paper, followed by the application of decal varnish. The image is then transferred to the ceramics using water, as described above. Choosing the right decal varnish and respecting the drying time is critical to the success of this technology.

The process of making photoceramics with EDP paper is as follows:

  1. Printing: The image is printed on EDP paper using an A4-300 printer. It is important to use high-quality paper recommended by the printer manufacturer to avoid problems with image transfer.
  2. Preparation: After printing, the image should be cut out along the outline. It is optimal to use sharp scissors or a cutter for precise cutting.
  3. Immersion in water: The cut out drawing is carefully placed in warm water (the water temperature is indicated in the instructions for the EDP paper used; usually it is 20-30 degrees) for a certain amount of time, enough to activate the adhesive layer of the film.
  4. Transfer: After the adhesive is activated, the image film is easily separated from the paper base and gently transferred to the prepared ceramic surface. For smoothing, you can use a special rubber doctor blade.
  5. Firing: The transferred image ceramic product is placed in the muffle kiln for firing at the specified temperature. The firing temperature and time depend on the type of glaze and ceramics.

Regardless of the method chosen, it is important to follow the instructions of the printer A4-300 manufacturer and the materials used. Proper preparation, accuracy of each step and accuracy of work guarantee a high-quality, durable and beautiful photoceramic product.

Experiment with different designs and techniques to unleash the full potential of this wonderful equipment. The A4-300 is more than just a printer, it's a tool for creating true works of art that will delight you and your loved ones for years to come. The ability to adjust print parameters allows the process to be adapted to different types of glazes and ceramic materials, which opens up endless creative possibilities for the user. Finally, keep in mind the safety precautions when operating the muffle furnace and always follow the safety instructions.

With the A4-300 ceramic printer, you can print ceramic decals for standard oval sizes of 30x40mm, 40x60mm, 50x70mm, 60x90mm, 70x90mm, 80x100mm, 90x120m, 110x150mm, 130x180mm, 150x200mm, 170x220mm, 170x230mm, 180x240mm, 200x300mm, as well as print images for rectangular plates, heart shapes, ceramic books, ceramic vases and many other items.
