Color Ceramic Printer A3-300
The ceramic printer A3-300 is a high-tech device designed for high-quality printing of images on ceramics and porcelain.
This model is a color ceramic printer A3 that uses a special ceramic toner and a special paper for printing decals. The key step in the process is firing in a muffle furnace at a temperature of about 830°C. This procedure not only fixes the paint to the product, creating a durable image that is resistant to fading and abrasion, but also makes it resistant to moisture, household chemicals and temperature extremes. As a result, prints on ceramics made with the A3-300 printer retain their brightness and detail for many years.
The A3-300 offers versatility in its applications, allowing you to work with a wide range of ceramic products, including ceramic tiles, tableware, souvenirs, tombstone ovals and plaques. This opens up wide opportunities for personalizing products, creating unique design solutions and implementing creative projects.
The high print resolution provides excellent detail and color reproduction, allowing you to reproduce even complex photos with high accuracy.
You can choose from three main technologies to transfer the image to the ceramic surface before firing in the muffle furnace in the A3-300. Below you can read a description of each:
Option A. Printing on specialized paper containing transfer film (EDP paper): This is the easiest and fastest method. Special EDP paper contains a thin layer of transfer film, on which the image is applied. After printing, the paper is immersed in water for a certain amount of time (the soaking time may vary depending on the type of paper and the temperature of the water). During this time, the film with the image peels off from the paper base. The film is then carefully transferred to the prepared ceramic surface, avoiding the formation of air bubbles. After drying, the image is ready for firing. It is important to note that the quality of the image directly depends on the correct preparation of the surface of the ceramics — it must be clean and degreased. For this, special cleaning agents are used, as well as degreasers that remove the remnants of grease and silicone.
Option B. Printing on decal paper followed by lamination: The image is printed on special decal paper, after which it is covered with a protective film using a laminator. Lamination gives additional strength and protects the image from damage. Next, the decal is carefully transferred to the ceramics and fired. The choice of laminator and laminating film depends on the characteristics of the decal paper used. There are different types of films with different degrees of protection and gloss.
Option C. Printing ceramic decals using a special decal varnish: This method is suitable for creating more complex curved products. A special varnish for decals is applied to a picture printed on decal paper using silk-screen technology. Then the decal is carefully transferred to the ceramic surface, and the product is sent for firing. The quality of the final result strongly depends on the correct choice of varnish and compliance with the application technology.
Supplies:
For the smooth operation of the printer, original consumables are required — ceramic toner, special printing paper, as well as cleaning agents for the preparation of ceramics. Using non-genuine materials may cause the printer to break or reduce print quality.
Overall, the ceramic decal printer A3-300 is a powerful tool for creating unique and durable ceramic products. However, for the best results, knowledge of the technology, careful preparation and the use of quality consumables are necessary.
